Chemicals have ruled us all these years, its time to turn it back!

We have produced so many things out of polymers that our blood now has micro-plastic which is very difficult to get rid of. What comes from nature is bound to sense life within and outside of us. The project is about bringing the organic products into everyone’s life.

The organic movement started in the early 1900’s as a fight against the chemical fertilizers and pesticides that came into the agriculture sector. The required nutrients in the crops, vegetables and fruits also decreased. Though the production increased many folds the nutrients didn’t, hence we had take four apples instead of one. The lifestyle in terms of clothing also went to polyester which was cheap and was imported. The same went with other domestic necessities. Organic farming and usage of organic products are picking up, the same needs to be more affordable and accessible.

Pick organic is a online portal that will market organic products from artisans, craftsmen, social entrepreneurs. The products can from variety of organic materials like bamboo, jute, clay, cotton etc.

The project also aims at setting up offline stores at every ward to sell organically grown vegetables and fruits. The project will collaborate with SoilRoof Project to get vegetables to store and FOP to get fruits and other eatables.
